The history of the “forbidden” perfume – Absolument

The renowned Pascal Rolland, creator of Absolument, has been a distinguished
parfumer for more than 20 years. In 1999, he re-introduced the notorious
absinthe liquor, which had been banned since the 1950s, and through a special
distillation process, made it safe for consumption.

A great parfumer always follows his nose.
Enchanted with the powerful absinthe aroma, Rolland engaged the celebrated
aromatician, Marc Villaceque who found a way to capture the pure essence of
the absinthe plant—then blended it with 50 other essences (including the
naughty cannabis), et voila: the exquisite Absolument.

Aa was originally intended for private use only.
